For those that are interested Laura had her operation yesterday and is now the owner of a shiny new collarbone.The op went better than expected so hopefully she can now put the whole episode behind her and she can get on with what she loves the most….snowboarding.
I’d like to thank on behalf of myself and Laura all her friends and sponsors who have supported her over these recent injury-riden years and also Mr Flynn and his magic hands.
On the competition front Laura travelled to Val Senales in Italy with Sam Turnbull last weekend for the final leg of the Burton AM Tour.She finished a lazy 2nd on the day but was crowned Tour Winner and walked away with a Suzuki 250 Quad Bike.We have a garden the size of a postage stamp so hopefully we’ll be able to sell it.
Sam finished 4th in his age group beating the eventual Overall Winner who came 9th but he lost the Overall title by a measly 57 points!
They both stayed on an extra day to take part in the Photo Shoot Burton had organised and both got some amazing shot on a beautiful sunny day.
