On the Monday of the Freeze, I took a trip up to Manchester with Webbo and George from Bracknell, for the UK Passing Thru Tour - where skiers including Tom Wallisch, Mike Clarke, Matt Walker and TJ Schiller, were doing a short trip round the UK at Chill Factore , and Bearsden. I was only going up for the Chill Factor session, staying in a hotel then shooting back on Tuesday as I couldn’t miss any more school. Needless to say when i got to Chill Factor the park was looking amazing, the best UK park I have seen by far.

It was great to see so many skiers from the UK had turned up to the event, to have a shred on the amazing set up and to meet their idol’s. The evening kicked off with a bit of poster signing from the pro’s before them getting out on the slope to shred with all the UK guys.

I had a great evening skiing with everyone. I particulary enjoyed mine, Webbo’s and little TJ’s switch seven shotgun we had going on the really fun kicker they had there. The big raised rail was also really good fun.

At about 10, I was done with skiing, a combination of lack of sleep from the pass few weeks and just being generally worn out made me stop. Up in the bar we had a few drinks with everyone catching up, before going back to the hotel. On Tuesday, we didn’t wake up till quite late and it ended up being a very late journey.
