I always wanted to try snowboarding. It seemed like a natural progression from skateboarding. The daily grind of London office life took its toll on my soul...I signed up for Nonstop snowboard to learn how to teach snowboarding. It was the best decision of my life. From here my snowboarding journey began...fun fun fun

New Zealand Southern Hemi winter 2008. Epic! Excellent snow conditions, amazing people, beautiful Aotearoa, and fun times progressing and riding with friends. Competing has been super fun too, as I have been fortunate enough to ride with a variety top international snowboarders.

What's your goal within snowboarding?

My goal is to keep progressing my riding, meeting new people and most importantly continue to have fun.

What aspect of snowboarding gives you the most satisfaction (powder, kickers, halfpipe, competitions, big air, cliff drops, etc.)?

I get the most satisfaction being locked on to a lazy feeling frontboard on a down rail. An amazing feeling. Skateboarding fused with snowboarding, so much fun. BackLips feel soooooooo good too!

What style of snowboarding best describes your riding (include a couple if you want)?

Free style

What's your favourite trick?

Floaty Back one no grab off a big booter

What's your scariest snowboarding moment?

Dislocating my elbow. Oh the pain! A morphine injection and a the help of a friendly doctor and I was good to go. Snowboarding is extreme.

What are your top safety tips when riding?

If you can dream it, you can do it. Visualize your trick so that you have already done it, even before doing it. This should help you to stay safe.
