Where did you grow up?

Totton, Southampton

How old where you when you first began riding?

i could ride before i could walk. My dad didn't believe in stabilizers!

What/ Who got you into it?

i was at school and this kid had the coolest looking bike and i wanted one. I saved for months to get a good bike (with a little help from the parents) for a catalogue haha. That bike didn't last long. In the end i got a Kona fire mountain which was the start of my riding fetish

What sort of riding do you mostly do?

I'm known for dirt jumping but i actually love bigger stuff like freeriding, downhill. I love to drit jump, ride skate parks and street

Which competitions do you compete in? (i.e. which series or specific events?)

Nissan Qashqai series, Crankworx, Adidas slopestyle, mostly the big contests. when its quiet i tend to look for events to do

What bikes do you ride & how do you set them up for different situations? (i.e. downhill, hardtail, full suspension, cross country, bmx..

I ride a Kona Cowan for dirt and skatepark, low rise bars and not so grippy tyres for smooth runs. Downhill/Freeride i use the same bike, my Kona Stinky. Lots of travel for the crazy terrain and big senders. My Konma BASS slopestyle bike is my favourite and i can ride any thing on it. The Short travel full suus enables my adjust for conditions and i just love the fact one bike can do everything

English brake set-up. the proper way! Left rear brake!!!

Where do you mostly ride?

I ride mostly near my house in Southampton, lots of drt jumps, good cross country in the New Forest and not far from airports to go where ever, when ever!

Where are the best places you have ever ridden?

Whistler, my home town, Bucklands rings with the lads in lymington

How many years have you been competing?

10 years

What was your favourite trip and why?

Most memorable event?

It would have to be Kona Whitestyle 2007 on the snow. My Step Dad was in hospital with Cancer and i rode the best i could ever imagine on the snow and i won the event. The most effortless time on my bike which meant everything to me. I did it for him. God Bless him

What do you love about mountain biking?

I like ATB insted, all terrain bike. That says it all. Theres nothing a mountain bike cant do!

What is your goal within mountain biking?

I feel like i reach my goals everyday when i ride. The fact i ride bikes for a living is a scorching goal!

What style of best describes your riding (include a couple if you want)?

As i said before. I love Freeriding/Slopestyle. Its just you and obstacles in front of you. Just come up with something cool niot worrying about the time!

What is you scariest mountain biking moment?

Tailwhipping off the most stupid size drop at ccrankworx 2007. The landing was flat enough as it was and riders were crashing hard just doing x-ups off it. So typical me, i had a go at a tailwhip off it. i pulled it clean but then the G force kicked in 5ft from the ground and slid out on my elbows and hip haha

What is your worst injury?

Split Pancreas, damaged stomach, internal bleeding, dislocated right hip and both shoulders, ACL in knees ready to retire, broken little finger, 4 KO\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'S, 3 Blackouts, Bruised lungs, Fractured ribs and the typical anti shin pad legs haha. Still loving it!

What is your top safety tips when mountain biking?

Wear your helmet no matter how cool you think you are> one knock is enough!

What are your other interests?

Darts, fresh trainers, watching the world cup footy when its on like a chav, fishing, golf and puzzle compendiums when on the plane

Where would you like to see yourself in the future?

In a nice house with a warehouse next to it so i can have a camp for riders to stay at. oh and a ferrari! cheesy me...

Realistically, what will you be doing in the future?

A sports agent/manager for riders, il worry about that when i need to.

Who are your idols?

Steve Peat, Martyn Ashton and my good friend Steve Geall who taught me alot about riding

What music are you into?

I love anything you throw at me but when im mad i wanna listen to metallicca of megadeath or something like that
